Beginner band
camp
Cole Piche and Mark Freitag practiced the drums.
Estevan and area students participated in a
beginner band camp September 8 at the Estevan Comprehensive School.
The aspiring musicians practiced several songs. They also learned
proper posture, embouchure and instrument care and assembly.

Motorcycle ride
The Estevan Prairie Riders motorcycle club held their annual
motorcycle ride September 9. Sixty-five bikers rode to Weyburn,
met up with the Weyburn Independent Riders, and travelled to Stoughton
for beef on a bun. About $2,200 was raised between the two clubs.
The money will be donated to Ronald McDonald House in Saskatoon.
