Terry
Germain- This was my first custom order which features a bull Moose overlooking
a swamp with a cow Moose standing on the other side. They are also taking advantage
of the hunter who has paused for a nap against the tree, but he better be careful
as there are wolves coming up behind him. This piece is about 36 across
and 14 deep and is mounted on South African Paddock and that is its natural
colour. This piece was going to a desk in a company office.
Louis
Lake- One of my hunting partners brought me this one-horned bull which he
had taken a couple years earlier. I decided to carve out the scenario leading
up to the event which was him sitting in his tree stand overlooking a swamp.
Louis seems to get his Moose every year from this same spot, thus leading to
the name. The base is from South African Zebra Wood and the horn is about 30x16.
Grants
Eagle- This is a single Moose antler pivoting on a base of Juniper or Cedar.
The Eagle is just hovering and will turn freely and is removable. The wood was
picked up in the Bad Lands in Southern Saskatchewan, where I sandblasted it
and left it in natural colour. These Eagles are really popular and quite reasonably
priced, time invested is considerably less. This piece stands about 24
high and 30 wide.
