The Estevan Art Gallery and Museum (EAGM) began their summer arts camp program on July 7 with the Art Explosion camp.

Art Explosion continued until July 10. It involves the combination of art and science. Twenty children took part in the camp.

Three other camps will be offered this summer.

The next camp, Art Outdoors from July 14 to 17, encourages children to use materials from the outdoors to make their crafts.

An Art Around the World Camp, from July 21 to 24, will allow participants to experience art from different cultures.

The final camp, from July 28 to 31, is an art and advertising theme, as the crafts entail creating advertising.

EAGM educator Karly Garnier said that 80 youth will attend the other camps.

The summer arts program concludes on July 31, and there will be an art show with crafts that were made throughout the month.
