One person killed near Arcola


A single-vehicle rollover on Highway 13, seven kilometres west of Arcola, has left one person dead.

A 25-year-old male was driving westbound in the early morning hours of June 28 when he lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle entered the north ditch and rolled. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

There weren't any other occupants in the vehicle.

The Carlyle RCMP, EMS and Fire Department responded to the accident.

An RCMP collision re-constructionist was on the scene with members of the Carlyle RCMP Detachment. Traffic was impeded during the investigation. The name of the deceased was not immediately available.
