Fishing tournament attracts 16 teams

The team of Rick Breisnes and Alan Nicholas captured the KRJ International Bass Fishing Tournament on June 14 at the Boundary Reservoir.

They caught the maximum of four fish, which had total weight of 15.50 pounds.

In second place was the team of Todd Folkerts and Dalan Wheeler, with their four fish weighing in at 15.32 pounds.

Lance Marcotte and Keith Parkinson came in third with a total weight of 14.98 pounds, even though they only weighed in three fish. Fourth place went to Brad and Darren Frater, as their four fish weighed 13.80 pounds.

Doug Franklin caught the biggest bass of the day. It weighed in at 4.38 pounds.

There were 16 two-person teams that entered the tournament.
