Local Days Inn recognized

Estevan’s Days Inn hotel has received a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence Award for the second straight year.

Realstar Hospitality revealed earlier this month that over 20 Days Inn locations across Canada, including Estevan, have received the distinction. It honours hospitality excellence, and is given to establishments worldwide that consistently achieve outstanding traveller reviews on TripAdvisor.

Those awarded the Certificate of Excellence represent the upper echelon of businesses listed on TripAdvisor’s website.

“Our hotels strive to provide a memorable guest experience; receiving this honour is evidence that their hard work and commitment to excellence is translating into positive reviews,” said Realstar Hospitality president and chief operating officer Irwin Prince. “There is no greater seal of approval than being recognized by our guests.”

When selecting Certificate of Excellence winners, TripAdvisor uses a system that takes into account reviews ratings. Hotels must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, while having a minimum number of reviews, and recent evaluations.

Additional criteria include a business’ tenure and popularity ranking on the site.

“TripAdvisor is pleased to honour exceptional hospitality businesses for consistent excellence,” said TripAdvisor for Business president Marc Charron. “The Certificate of Excellence award gives top performing establishments around the world the recognition they deserve, based on feedback from those who matter most – their customers.”
