Estevan Medical Group is moving

The Estevan Medical Group and its physicians will be moving into the clinic operated by the St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation.

“The overall goal of the hospital foundation clinic was to house as many physicians as possible who also work in the hospital, in order to improve patient care in Estevan and surrounding area,” said foundation director Becky Conly.

“We are very excited about this addition to our clinics existing line-up of physicians (of) Dr. (Charles) Omosigho and Dr. (Khalid) Sheikh. Having this many physicians in one area will truly have a very beneficial impact on healthcare in southeast Saskatchewan.”

The Estevan Medical Group is currently located off of Nicholson Avenue, to the southeast of the hospital.

The physicians who will be relocating to the hospital will be Dr. Jimi Akinsete, Dr. Mehdi Horri, Dr. Msikazi Langeni, Dr. Michael Ovueni and Dr. Idris Yekinni.

“We are very excited to make the hospital foundation clinic our new place of practice,” said Horri. “At this new location we are able to provide better healthcare to our patients in the hospital, with quicker emergency response time.”

The Estevan Medical Group will be closing the doors at their current location on June 26, and will open for business in the foundation's clinic on June 30.
