Tourism Estevan is hosting a Create Curiosity Sell Saskatchewan workshop, at the Days Inn's Fireside Room, on Monday, May 12, starting at 1 p.m.
According to a press release for the event, more than nine million people visit Saskatchewan each year, and spend over $2.12 billion dollars in communities. These visitors come into contact with all types of businesses, including retail stores, hotels, restaurants, rental car agencies and many more.
“In the tourism industry, we are constantly asked ‘What is there to do in Estevan?’” said Estevan Chamber of Commerce marketing and events coordinator Rebecca Howie.
“This workshop will help employees and people in the tourism industry answer that question. It will offer ideas on why people should visit our community; how we are going to attract them; and how we can deliver an exceptional experience while here.”
Tourism Saskatchewan's education and training department – the Saskatchewan Tourism Education Council (STEC) – is pleased to bring the workshop to Estevan.
For more than twenty years, STEC has been working with Saskatchewan businesses and employers to raise the level of professionalism across all industries, and to provide visitors and residents with the best possible Saskatchewan experience.
