Estevan Days Inn wins national honour


The Estevan Days Inn was presented with the national Housekeeping Team of the Year award by Realstar Hospitality at a recent national convention.

The housekeeping award is one of several honours that pay tribute to leading Days Inn hotels and employees from across the country. Days Inn Estevan was one of just nine hotels to receive an award for 2013.

“This outstanding achievement can be attributed to the efforts of our entire housekeeping team,” said Days Inn Estevan general manager Jeff Pierson. “We work as a team and are committed to providing the highest quality of lodging to our guests. It’s with great pride that we receive such an honour.”

The Days Inn Estevan is a full-service hotel. Guests enjoy modern accommodations, free high-speed internet access and an on-site fitness centre. The hotel also features meeting and banquet facilities.

“We’re proud to celebrate our hotels and hotel teams who work extremely hard to present the very best that the Days Inn brand has to offer in Canada,” said Realstar Hospitality president and chief operating officer Irwin Prince.

“This year’s recipients have demonstrated exceptional commitment to a standard for excellence in hospitality, and they provide a benchmark for our entire franchise system.”

Awards were also presented for outstanding new, renovated and existing properties, guest reviews, humanitarian efforts, and outstanding general manger work.
