Musicians perform at After Dark

Wyatt Easterling was one of several musicians who performed during the After Dark Weekend at the Estevan Art Gallery and Museum.

The Estevan Art Gallery and Museum wrapped up the 2013-14 edition of the After Dark concert series by hosting an After Dark Weekend on April 25 and 26.

Long-time country and folk music singer/songwriter Wyatt Easterling was the performer on the 25th. He played several songs that he has recorded or collaborated on, shared stories with spectators regarding his experiences in the music industry, and discussed his encounters with such stars as John Michael Montgomery and Tim McGraw.

The following day, Easterling offered insights during a song-writing workshop.

Saskatchewan-based indie rock musicians Tyler Gilbert and the Dustin Ritter Band performed at concerts on the 26th.

After Dark brought a variety of musicians to Estevan this year, and the average attendance for the concerts was up compared to the first two years of the concert series.
