Police responded to several calls in the past week


Estevan Police Service members were called to a residence on the south end of the city for a domestic disturbance on Sunday morning. The parties were spoken to and the matter was referred to the Ministry of Social Services to handle.

Police responded to a report of a hit-and-run in the north end of the city last week. The complainant had witnessed the collision and attempted to stop the suspect from leaving the scene. Police responded, and while officers were speaking to the victim, the suspect surrendered to police.

Officers were called to the back alley of a bar for a report of a person passed out in a garbage bin. The male was arrested for being intoxicated in a public place and lodged in cells for the night.

Police received a report of a reckless driver who nearly hit an oncoming vehicle. A license plate was provided and the matter remains under investigation.

Officers responded to a vandalism complaint involving a vehicle in the north end of the city. The matter remains under investigation.

Police are investigating a mischief incident at Affinity Place, in which damage occurred to the exterior of the building. Police have suspects and the matter is under investigation.

Members are investigating a complaint of criminal harassment between a landlord and a tenant, in which the has issued a notice of eviction without lawful authority to do so. At this time the matter has been resolved without charges.
