An investigation is continuing into the matter, as the subject may have taken a vehicle without the consent of the owner. The male was also extremely intoxicated at the time of the arrest.

A 35-year-old male was charged with impaired driving and driving while over .08 after police stopped the accused on Saturday night, thanks to his driving actions. He will appear in court on June 2.

Police were called to a domestic dispute at a residence in the central part of the city. The parties were separated, and one left for the remainder of the night. Alcohol was a factor in the incident. No further action was necessary.

Police were notified that a male had been spotted falling near the 13th Avenue and Sixth Street intersection on Friday night. When police arrived, they located a 27-year-old male who was extremely intoxicated. He was subsequently arrested and lodged in cells for his own safety.

Members were called to a residential park after reports of damage were received due to four-wheel drive vehicles driving through the area. When police arrived, they determined a vehicle had driven off the road and into a grassy area. The driver then became stuck in the mud. He called for assistance, at which time a friend attended and pulled him out. Police learned the operator of the stuck vehicle was making deliveries for a local restaurant, and was not familiar with the area. The matter has been concluded.

Officers received a call of a possible impaired driver on the city’s north end. Police located and stopped the vehicle, and determined the driver was sober. This matter has been concluded.

A call regarding another impaired driver resulted in charges against a 40-year-old female, after police stopped the vehicle she was operating on the north end of the city. She will make a court appearance on June 2.

A report of a third impaired diver was also received, but police were unable to locate the vehicle.

A fight at a local nightclub led to the arrest of a 33-year-old male.  He was lodged in cells for the evening. The incident remains under investigation.

In the early morning hours of April 18, a break-and-enter occurred at a local business. The front window was smashed and the suspects entered the building. A large volume of merchandise was taken. The exact dollar value or quantity of missing merchandise was not immediately known. The incident is still under investigation.
