The Estevan Gymnastics Club capped its 2013-14 season by hosting a showcase at the Estevan Exhibition building on April 12.
Gymnasts performed routines on the floor, the uneven bars, the beam and the vault, and demonstrated the skills that they have learned for friends and family who were in attendance.
There were five different classes of performers during the showcase.
The Estevan Gymnastics Club had separate fall and winter sessions 2013-14, and each session attracted about 200 children. Enrolment is up about 40 per cent since the gymnastics club was resurrected in 2011. Practices were held at the exhibition building. Children ranged in age from two to 14.
The club has three coaches who are certified, and seven more who are in training.
