Norway's last title came in 1988, when they beat Canada 5-4.
In Major League Baseball, the Seattle Mariners took one of three games from the Oakland A's. One game was canceled due to a wet field. The Mariners are in first in the American League West Division.
In NCAA Baseball, the No. 25 Florida Gators took one of three games from the Kentucky Wildcats. The Gators are in second place in the South Eastern Conference's East Division.
In the Arena Football League, the Cleveland Gladiators got past the Iowa Barnstormers 54-47. The Gladiators' record is 3-0, and their next game is against L.A. Kiss.
