Estevan Police Service members were called to a nightclub on Thursday night after a patron damaged a VLT machine. The suspect paid for the damage he caused while still at the scene, and the matter was resolved. He was then removed from the establishment for the evening. No further action was required.
Members received a call about a barking dog. When police attended to the area, all was quiet and the dog was not located. The matter was concluded.
An 18-year-old male was charged with suspended driving and speeding on Wednesday night, after police observed him operating his vehicle at a very high rate of speed. When the motorist was stopped, police determined he was suspended and did not have a license. His vehicle was seized as a result. He will appear in court on May 14.

Police arrested an 18-year-old Estevan male on Monday night after allegations were made about a sexual assault. Because the allegation took place while the male was still a youth, no further information can be released due to the Youth Criminal Justice Act. The male has already made his first court appearance.
Police checked a vehicle that was driving erratically in the city's north end. Police were alerted to an odour of marijuana in the vehicle. A 46-year-old B.C. male was arrested for possession for the purpose of trafficking after three pounds of marijuana and a large amount of cash were located in the vehicle. The man will appear in Estevan court later this week.
