Chamber announces new partnership

First Data Canada, a global leader in electronic commerce and payment processing, has announced an agreement with the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, in which First Data will offer Canadian chamber members exclusive merchant processing services.

As part of this agreement, Estevan Chamber of Commerce members will receive preferred rates on electronic payment processing services, including credit, debit, electronic commerce, mobile commerce, cheque guarantees and gift cards.

“Payment card acceptance is mission critical to most businesses,” said First Data in Canada president Brian Green. ”Selecting the right provider in this complex market is no easy task for time-starved business operators. First Data’s program offers the value, functionality and respect that the Estevan chamber members demand.”

“Our chamber recognizes the importance of this service and the program being offered by First Data,” said Estevan chamber executive director Michel Cyrenne. “This is a tremendous benefit to our members, providing both outstanding service as well as premium rates on merchant services.

“We’re very excited to be promoting this program and trust many of our members will be taking advantage of the potential savings.”

Estevan Chamber members can sign up for First Data’s merchant processing services on the First Data website.
