Comments

The Saskatchewan High Performance Figure Skating Team's Saskatchewan Stars on Ice show will be coming to Affinity Place in Estevan on Tuesday, March 4 at 6:30 p.m.

The Estevan Figure Skating Club and Skate Canada Saskatchewan are bringing the performance to Estevan.

The high performance team is made up of 28 male and female figure skaters from across Saskatchewan. They are between the ages of 12 and 22. Skaters will perform solo, pair, group and dance tandem routines, to modern and traditional music.

They will perform double and triple jumps, as well as spins.

Among the skaters scheduled to perform are Canadian novice pairs champions Keelee Gingrich and Davin Portz from Alberta, Canadian junior women's competitor Shelby Hall, and junior dance competitors Courtney Royer and Addison Voldeng.

Hall hails from Frobisher.

There will also be performances by local and regional skaters, and synchronized skating teams from Saskatchewan.

The high performance team will be available after the show to meet spectators, and to hand out sports cards and autographs.
