Nathan Puffalt let go from park

Nathan Puffalt has been let go as the manager of the Woodlawn Regional Park.

The park's authority made the decision in early February. Chair Greg Hoffort declined to specify any reasons for Puffalt's dismissal.

He also wasn't able to say whether the authority would seek a replacement for Puffalt.

Puffalt had been with the park since mid-2012. He helped oversee the reconstruction of the main park area that was largely washed away by the Souris River flooding the year before.

He was also involved with the Beach Bash in 2012 and 2013, the park's grand reopening celebrations last June, the construction of beach volleyball courts at the Boundary Dam beach site last year, and other initiatives.
