The Estevan Power Tech Midget AA Panthers scooped up three of a possible four points in home games against the league-leading Regina Capitals.

Estevan jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first period, and beat the Capitals 5-3 on February 1. Jenna Kreklewich had two of the first period goals, while Haley Ronyk also scored in the frame and assisted on both of Kreklewich's goals.

Jenna Grube scored in the second to extend the lead to 4-0. But Regina scored three times in six minutes to pull within a goal.

Kreklewich scored her third of the game in the third to give Estevan a two-goal advantage.

Litesha Spittal was in goal.

The following day, Kailey McLellan scored in the first and Macy Earl tallied in the second to give Estevan a 2-0 lead over Regina after two periods. But Regina scored twice in a three-minute span of the third to force the draw.

Brianna Cote was in goal.

Estevan's record in league play is 13-9-2. They'll close out the regular season when they visit the Notre Dame Hounds on February 13, the Regina Ravens on the 15th and the Weyburn Drillers on the 16th.
