Players announced for charity game

The tentative list of Saskatchewan Roughrider players who will be appearing in Estevan through the Rider Pride Hockey Challenge has been announced.

Fullback Neal Hughes, wide receiver Jordan Sisco, slotback Scott McHenry, kicker/punter Chris Milo, offensive linemen Brendon Labatte and Dan Clark, and defensive backs Paul Woldu and Macho Harris are slated to play in the game.

Wide receiver Taj Smith, offensive lineman Xavier Fulton, linebackers Mike McCullough and Diamond Ferri, and defensive backs Carlos Thomas and Eddie Russ will coach the Rider squad.

The game will take place on Sunday, January 26 at Affinity Place.

The Riders will play a team consisting of local youth football players, and members of the Estevan Police Service, Estevan RCMP and Estevan Fire and Rescue Services.

The activities start at 11:30 a.m. The Grey Cup will be on display in the Leisure Centre's multi-purpose room, and two Rider players will be signing autographs at the Grey Cup display. The other Riders will sign autographs at Affinity Place, also at 11:30.

The multi-purpose room will be free to enter, but a game ticket will be required to get into Affinity Place.

The game will start at 2:30 p.m., and fans will be able to have their photos taken with the Grey Cup at that time.

Proceeds will be directed towards Penta Completions Estevan Minor Football.
