Members of the Southeast and Northwest choruses performed their annual celebration of Christmas music December 7 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Estevan

The Southeast Chorus and the Northwest Chorus teamed up December 7 and 8 to perform their annual celebration of Christmas music.

The first concert was December 7 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Estevan. The following day, the choirs sang at Concordia Lutheran Church in Crosby, N.D. This year's theme was "All are Welcome."

The first half featured a variety of religious Christmas songs and selections. Some of them were familiar to the audience, but other carols were songs that the audience might have been hearing for the first time.

The second half featured a blend of religious, contemporary and rhythmic Christmas songs.

Ed Retzer was the director, and Harlan Johnson was the co-director. Danielle Evenson serve as the principal piano accompanist, while Vicki Lee accompanied some of the selections.

Many of the singers had solos during the performance.

About two-thirds of the this year's singers were from the Estevan area.
