Estevan Police Service members located a male and female fighting outside a local drinking establishment on Sunday night. Both parties were intoxicated. They were arrested and lodged in cells until sober. Both will face charges of public intoxication.

Police were alerted by a motorist about a possible intoxicated driver. Police located the driver with the help of the complainant, and a 35-year-old Manitoba male was arrested for impaired driving. He was lodged in cells and will face numerous charges in Estevan court in February.

Officers also checked vehicles driving on Fourth Street, and issued several 24-hour driving suspensions.

Members checked a vehicle in the Cactus Park area on Saturday night and found open alcohol. Police charged the 23-year-old B.C. female with having open alcohol in a vehicle. The 26-year-old Estevan male driver was found to be in possession of marijuana. He was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, and will appear in Estevan court in early February.

Police were called to a local business on a report of a fight. Officers located several males fighting outside the business and arrests occurred. Two Estevan males were held in cells until sober, and were charged with fighting and being drunk in public.

Members were called by a local cab company on a report of an unruly client. The male was arrested and placed in cells until sober.

Police responded to several calls due to fights at a local establishment on Friday night. Police arrested several individuals for intoxication and fighting, and lodged them until sober. Charges are pending.

Members checked a vehicle on the city's west end. The driver was reported to be impaired. Police arrested the driver and charged him with refusing to provide a breath sample. The 18-year-old Estevan male was lodged in cells until sober and has an early January court date. A passenger in the vehicle was also charged for being a minor in possession of alcohol. He was turned over to a parent.

Police then were called to the cities north end on a report of a male entering a residence. Police arrived on scene and found a 40-year-old Estevan male intoxicated and sleeping on a couch in the residence. He was arrested and lodged in cells, and faces charges of trespassing.

Officers located a male passed out in a vehicle outside of a local drinking establishment. He was arrested for public intoxication and lodged in cells.

Several drivers where checked for sobriety and were charged with impaired driving. All were lodged in cells and will be in Estevan court in January to answer to the charges.

Police responded to an alarm at a retail business on the north side of the city on Tuesday night. The alarm was found to have been triggered by an employee.

Members responded to a local lounge on a report of a female who would not leave the establishment. When police arrived they found a female who was outside on the ground injured. The female was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital where she was examined and released. Police have arrested a 37-year-old male for assault causing bodily harm as a result of the incident. He appeared before a Justice of the Peace the following day, and was released on conditions.

Police responded to a call of a vehicle that was hung up on the windrow along 13th Avenue. Officers spoke with the driver and it is believed to have been a result of poor road conditions, as alcohol was not a factor. The vehicle was unregistered; the driver was charged and the vehicle removed. No injuries or damages occurred.
