The Estevan Bruins returned to the ice after a 10-day break on Wednesday night, and lost 3-1 to the Flin Flon Bombers at Spectra Place.
Flin Flon scored in the final minute of each period to get the win. Parker Evans-Campbell scored with 27 seconds to play in the first period to give the Bombers a 1-0 lead. Brock Hounsell doubled the lead with 16 seconds to play in the second period.
Cory Kosloski scored for Estevan early in the third to make the score 2-1, but Cameron Blair had an empty net goal with 30 seconds remaining to put the game away.
Matt Gibney stopped 32 shots for the Bruins.
Estevan has a 3-3-1-1 record, which leaves them third in the Sherwood Conference.
Their next game is Friday night at Spectra Place against the Melfort Mustangs. Game time is at 7:30 p.m.
