Local residents had several activities to choose from on September 27 during the Culture Days celebrations in Estevan.
The Souris Valley Museum offered hay rides, pioneer games, rope-making sessions and tours. The Estevan Art Gallery and Museum also offered tours, and they had a button-making craft. The Estevan Public Library was the site of a class on how to make pumpkin bread in a jar.
People were encouraged to take in all three attractions.
Culture Days is a nation-wide initiative that offers a celebration of art, culture and history across Canada. Communities and organizations were encouraged to offer events from September 27 to 29. Special events have been happening in Estevan for Culture Days for several years.
