Estevan's second annual Bump, Baby and Toddler Expo will feature plenty of information for parents who are expecting, or who have a newborn baby or a toddler.
The event will happen on Sunday, September 15 at the Icon Centre. Doors will open at 10 a.m. There will be plenty of information, insights and merchandise, thanks to the 60-plus vendors who will be in attendance, and there will be plenty of entertainment.
Among the highlights will be a concert from the Music for Young Children, fashion shows from two different businesses that market clothing for babies and toddlers, an infant massage session, a Zumba class and a baby wearing session.
A baby crawl will also be part of the event for the second straight year. It is open to babies who are able to crawl, but aren't walking yet.
There will also be face painting, balloons and appearances by Minnie Mouse, Elmo and Oscar the Grouch.
Proceeds from the event will be directed towards the obstetrics unit at St. Joseph's Hospital in Estevan.
Last year's Baby Expo was held in the Wylie-Mitchell building over the course of two days in November, and it attracted 45 exhibitors who offered information on parenthood, and different clothing and services that a parent would want. Approximately 450 people attended the expo in 2012.
The success of last year's event encouraged organizers to host it again this year.
