Two members of the No Boundaries Wakeboarding Club had a successful outing at the recent Wakeboarding National Championships at Bala Bay, Ontario. Taylor Johnson earned the silver medal in the women's division and was third in the pro women's class. Johnson competed in a higher age category, as it offered better competition, she said. Johnson said that the overall experience at nationals was great, as she noticed the improvements she made over the course of the summer. Sage Dayman took first place in the boys' rail competition. The rail competition involves doing tricks on ramps. The national championships is a four-day event that started on August 22 and concluded on the 25th. No Boundaries spokesperson Angela Johnson said that the wakeboarders enjoyed perfect weather for three out of the four days, as it rained on the last day. The national championship is usually the last event that members of the No Boundaries Wakeboarding Club compete in each year.
