The Estevan RCMP is investigating a theft that occurred at a farmyard near Benson on August 14.
A dark Dodge pick-up truck was observed parking at about 3:30 p.m. A large quantity of diesel fuel was stored at the site. A tall, blonde woman was seen getting out of the driver's side of the truck with a jerrycan.
By the time it was determined by the owner that a theft was in progress, the truck had left the scene. Approximately 132 litres of diesel fuel were stolen.
The Estevan RCMP is reminding rural residents to lock up or disconnect power to fuel pumps when not in use.
