The Bienfait Coalers have advanced to the Big 6 Hockey League's final, again, and have been waiting to find out who they'll play.

Bienfait reached the final for the fourth straight year by sweeping the Redvers Rockets in a best-of-five semi-final series. Bienfait won Game 2 3-0 on March 7, and Game 3 6-2 on March 8.

The Coalers are seeking their third straight Big 6 crown.

The Midale Mustangs had a 2-1 series lead over the Arcola-Kisbey Combines in the other semi-final. Midale won Game 2 1-0 on March 8 to take a 2-0 series lead. They had a chance to finish the series on March 9, but lost 3-2 in Game 3.

Game 4 was slated to be played March 13 in Arcola. Game 5, if necessary, would be played March 15 in Midale.
The winner of the Mustangs/Combines series will face the Coalers in the final. Midale has been in the final the last five years, and Midale and Bienfait have met in the final the previous three seasons.
