The Estevan KPC Extreme volleyball club teams recently competed in their first of two Sask. Cup tournaments this season.

Estevan currently has two girls teams: an under-14 (U14) entry and an under-16 (U16) squad. Both had strong showings in the Sask. Cup tournaments.

The U14 girls traveled to Prince Albert, and started by winning five straight matches on the opening day. They qualified to play in the tournament's top tier, and ended the weekend in seventh spot.

The U16 girls event was in Saskatoon. The team had three wins and two losses on the first day, and finished with six wins and three losses, which left them in 21st.

The Saskatchewan Volleyball Association (SVA) sanctions two Sask. Cup tournaments per age class. Teams earn points to determine seeding for the provincial tournament. Provincials are April 26 to 28 for the U14 and May 3 to 5 for U16.
