The Estevan Apex Midget AA Bruins won two of three recent games in league play.
Estevan defeated the Notre Dame Hounds 5-4 on February 13. Kaelan Holt scored the winning goal with less than three minutes remaining in the game. It was his second of the period.
Jason Hengen, Talys Halabuza and Blaine Herzberg had Estevan's other goals.
Dylan Lay scored twice and added two assists in Estevan's 6-2 win over the Notre Dame Argos on February 17. Marc Shaw also had two goals. Mason Benning and Jolan Lingelbach scored the other goals.
The Midget AAs dropped a 5-2 decision to the Regina Wild on February 18. Lay and Tanner Jeannot had the goals.
Levi Eiteneier started in goal against the Hounds and the Wild. Tanner Tytlandsvik was the winning goalie versus the Argos.
Estevan's record is 16-10-6. They'll close out the regular season by visiting the Prairie Storm in White City on February 22, and the Regina Capitals on February 24.

The Estevan TS&M Bantam AA Bruins finished off their regular season February 16 in a 9-2 loss to the Regina Pat Blues – the top team in the Saskatchewan Bantam AA Hockey League's (SBAAHL) South Division. Colton Winton had a pair of power play goals for Estevan.
Cameron Lavoie was in goal for the loss.
Estevan finished the regular season with a 9-15-3 record, which left them eighth in the south. They'll face the Pat Blues in a best-of-three first round series.
Game 1 will be February 22 in Regina, Game 2 will be February 24 in Estevan at the Civic Auditorium, beginning at 3 p.m. Game 3, if necessary, will be February 27 in Regina.

The Estevan Sherritt Coal Peewee AA Bruins split a pair of games against the Weyburn Youngfellows, winning 2-0 on February 16, but losing 5-3 the following afternoon.
Cole Fonstad and Terran Holzer each had a goal and an assist in the win over Weyburn. Cody Levesque recorded the shutout victory.
Fonstad contributed two goals and an assist, while Mason Strutt also scored, in the loss on the 17th.
Morgan Wanner was in goal for the first period. Levesque was the goalie for the final two frames.
The Peewee AA Bruins' record is 6-10-1. They'll finish the regular season by playing three games in three nights: February 23 and 24 in Melville, and February 25 at home against Weyburn.

The Estevan Gem Well Atom AA Bruins finished off the regular season on a high note with two wins and a draw. They defeated the Moosomin Ice Badgers 5-4 in Moosomin on February 12, tied the Weyburn Panthers at home on February 16, and edged Weyburn 6-5 in Weyburn on February 17.
Austin Fleck's second goal of the game with about 11 minutes to play in the third period proved to be the game winner against Moosomin. Tayce Miller, Parker Bell and Chase Gedak had Estevan's other goals.
Ben Wagstaff, Josh Romanyk, Kaiden Tuchscherer, Alex Von Sprecken and Cale Adams scored for Estevan in the tie versus Weyburn. Estevan led 4-0 in the first period, but Weyburn chipped away at the lead and tied the game in the third. The teams each scored once in the game's final five minutes.
Romanyk had a four-point game against Weyburn February 17, as he scored the game-winning goal late in the third, and added three assists. Adams scored twice, while Bell, Fleck and Ethan Bill also scored.
Layne Gilroy was in goal for all three games.
Estevan finished with a 2-11-5 record in the South East Minor Hockey League play.
They'll play Yorkton in the first round of the playoffs.
