All four series have begun in the Big 6 Hockey League playoffs.

The Bienfait Coalers, who are seeking their third straight championship, defeated the Carlyle Cougars 9-2 on February 19 in Bienfait. Game 2 is scheduled for February 22 in Carlyle, and Game 3 would be February 23 in Bienfait.

The Oxbow Huskies pulled off an upset in Game 1 of their series with the Midale Mustangs, winning 3-2 in double overtime in Midale on February 19. Game 2 was scheduled for February 20 in Oxbow. (Results were not available at press time).

The series between the Wawota Flyers and the Redvers Rockets is tied at 1-1. Wawota won Game 1 5-4 on February 15, while Redvers took Game 2 6-3 on February 18.

Game 3 is scheduled for February 22 in Wawota, with Game 4 February 23 in Redvers. Game 5, if necessary, would be played February 26 in Wawota.

The Arcola-Kisbey Combines took a 1-0 lead in their series with the Carnduff Red Devils by winning 5-4 in Carnduff on February 16. Game 2 was scheduled to be played February 20 in Arcola. (Results were not available at press time). Game 3 is set for February 22 in Carnduff.

Game 4, if necessary, would be February 26 in Arcola, and Game 5 would be February 28 in Carnduff.

The first round series are best-of-five match-ups.
