The Third Town Band played a variety of music during their performance through the After Dark concert series February 8.
The band is comprised of seven Filipino newcomers who have immigrated to Canada. They are spread out over three different communities – hence the name of the band – and they come together regularly to share their love of music.
During their concert, they performed songs by a variety of artists, ranging from Alicia Keys to U2 to Guns 'N Roses. And the Filipinos played some of their own music, such as the song “Leaving You,” which is about somebody who is ending a relationship.
The first half of the concert took place at the Estevan Art Gallery and Museum. The second half occurred next door at Eddie Webster's.
The next After Dark concert will be Friday, March 15, when the Dustin Ritter band will be in Estevan.
