Estevan Police Service members are looking for a 27-year-old male who is known to them. He is wanted for breaching his conditional sentence order. He is suspected in a theft as well from a local store, and when police conducted a curfew check on his residence Thursday evening, he failed to show up at the door.
Police were called to a local senior complex Thursday night when a younger male entered and acted suspiciously. The male had left prior to police arrival and was not located in the area.
A 29-year-old male was arrested and lodged in cells for breaching the conditions of his undertaking, after police conducted a curfew check and noted he had been consuming alcohol. Police will attempt to remand him into custody for court Tuesday morning.
A 46-year-old male was arrested and charged with impaired driving and driving while over .08 after police observed him leaving a local lounge and committing a number of driving offences. He will make a court appearance March 25.
A 52-year-old male was also charged with impaired driving and driving while over .08 after police located him entering his vehicle at a local lounge. He will also make his court appearance March 25.
A 45-year-old male had his license suspended for 24 hours after blowing an “Alert” on the roadside screening device. He was stopped after he was observed leaving a local lounge.
Police received a complaint of a vehicle that had left a local lounge and became stuck a nearby ditch on Wednesday night. The operator of the vehicle was noted by witnesses to be spinning his tires in an erratic manner, trying to get away. When police arrived they located the extremely intoxicated accused in his vehicle. He had caused a significant amount of damage to his vehicle as a result of his attempts to free his vehicle. He was subsequently arrested and charged for impaired driving, driving while over .08 and dangerous driving. He will make a court appearance March 25.
