Aspen recognized for service

CanElson Drilling Estevan Bruins' trainer Gerry Aspen has been recognized for his 14 years of service with the hockey club. Aspen has been presented with a plaque from Hockey Canada, the Saskatchewan Hockey Association and the SJHL; the presentation occurred prior to the Bruins' game against the Battlefords North Stars on January 26. Aspen dedicates over 1,000 hours a year towards the health and equipment needs of the Bruins' players; he also spent more than 1,000 hours constructing and developing the team's dressing room inside of Spectra Place.
