The Estevan Apex Midget AA Bruins upped their unbeaten streak in league play to six games with a pair of recent victories.
Estevan defeated the Regina Capitals 6-3 on January 26 and the Swift Current Hurricanes 5-3 on the 27th.
Dylan Lay scored twice in the victory over the Capitals, while Tyler Hengen added three assists. Jason Hengen, Marc Shaw, Tyson Price and Mason Benning had the other goals for Estevan.
Shaw and Tanner Jeannot each scored twice in the win over Swift Current. Preston Hutt had the other goal.
Tanner Tytlandsvik was the winning goaltender against the Flames, and Levi Eiteneier picked up the win in goal against Swift Current.
Estevan's record in league play is 13-7-6. They have three games in three days coming up, as they'll visit the Prairie Storm February 1 in White City, and then host the Notre Dame Bantam Hounds on February 2 and the Yorkton Terriers on February 3.

The Estevan TS&M Bantam AA Bruins dropped all three games during a northeast road trip, losing 3-2 to the Humboldt Broncos January 25, 3-0 to the Sask. Valley Vipers in Warman on January 26, and 7-2 to the league-leading North East Wolfpack January 27 in Tisdale.
Peyton Stevenson had a goal and an assist in the game versus Humboldt. Kolten Ganson also scored.
JJ Holma scored early in the first to give Estevan a 1-0 lead over the Wolfpack, but North East would score the next five goals.
Mitchell Morrison had Estevan's other goal.
Carter Phair was the goalie against Humboldt and North East. Cameron Lavoie started against the Vipers.
Estevan's has a 7-13-3 record in league play. They'll host the Yorkton Terriers on February 2 and the Notre Dame Hounds on February 3.

The Estevan Sherritt Goal Peewee AA Bruins went 2-3 at the Regina Pats' Peewee AA Classic January 25 to 27 in Regina.
Estevan opened the tournament by dropping their first two games: 4-2 to the Regina Blackhawks and 8-1 to the Wheatland Braves. Cole Fonstad scored both goals against Regina. Colton Schell was the goal scorer versus Wheatland.
The peewees recovered to win their next two. The first was a 6-4 win over the Winnipeg Marauders. Fonstad and Ryder Pierson each scored twice. Terran Holzer and Mason Strutt also scored.
Fonstad had a hat trick in Estevan's next game, a 5-3 win over the Calgary Bow River Bruins. Strutt and Benning had the other goals.
The Bruins lost their final game of the tournament, 6-2 to the Regina Sabres. Strutt and Jake Palmer had the goals.
Cody Levesque was in goal for the first four games. Morgan Wanner started against the Sabres.
In provincial play, the peewees lost 13-1 to the Yorkton Terriers in Game 1 of a two-game, total-goal second round series. Strutt scored in the first period to give Estevan a 1-0 lead. Yorkton had just a 3-1 lead after the first period, but then dominated the final two frames.
Wanner was in goal.

The Estevan Gem Well Atom AA Bruins rallied from deficits of 3-0 after the first period, and 4-2 after two, to tie the Weyburn Wings 4-4 on January 26 at Spectra Place.
Josh Romanyk had three goals and an assist. His third goal with less than two minutes to play in the third tied the game. Austin Fleck had Estevan's other goal.
Layne Gilroy was in net.
