*A 34-year-old male was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, after police conducted a traffic stop on a suspicious vehicle on the city's north end. The accused was found to be in possession of a significant amount of marijuana. He will make his first court appearance January 28.
*Police also charged a 17-year-old and a 16-year-old with possession of a controlled substance after they were found with a small amount of marijuana during a traffic stop. Their court appearance will occur February 4.
*A 17-year-old male was arrested in relation to a shoplifting incident which occurred at an east-central department store. He will make his first court appearance February 4.
