Rock trio Speed Control will be the next performance in the Estevan Arts Council's Koncerts for Kids series.
Speed Control will perform on Tuesday, November 6 at the Orpheum Theatre, beginning at 7 p.m. Billed as real rock, Speed Control brings an energetic concert that gets people on their feet and dancing.
Speed Control’s show, "From Rags to Rock," showcases the evolution of pop/rock music from 1898 to the present, while promoting the influence of jazz on popular music.
The trio features brothers Graeme and Jody Peters, along with drummer Ian March. The Peters are graduates from the University of Toronto’s jazz performance program.
Speed Control uses their knowledge of music, stemming from their childhood to the present, to power their music forward.
