The Estevan Blue Rock Junior Midget Bruins opened defence of their Hockey Regina league title with a 3-1 victory over Weyburn on October 21.
Cole Piche, Kyle Seipp and Ryan Stovin scored for Estevan.
Landon Audet was in goal.
The Junior Midget Bruins have three games in three days coming up in Regina. They visit the Regina Flames on October 26 and 28, and the Regina Wild on October 27.

The Estevan Century 21 Bantam A Bruins improved their record to 2-0 in league play with a 7-3 victory over the Lumsden-Bethune Lions on October 20 at Spectra Place.
Prestin Bergen scored twice for Estevan in the victory. Colein Poole, Sage Dayman, Hunter Piche, Mackenzie Fichter and Josh Giblett had the other goals.
Zack Miller was in goal for the win.
The Bantam A Bruins will host the Regina Panthers on October 27 at 2:45 p.m. at the Civic Auditorium, and the Prairie Storm on October 28 at 1:45 p.m. at Spectra Place. Then they will visit the Regina Sabres on October 31.
