The Estevan Police Service had to respond to several calls during the weekend.
Police responded to a south central service station on Sunday night for a report of a theft. Two donation boxes were stolen. A 46-year-old male was found a short time later, at which time he was arrested and transported to the police station, where he was charged with theft. He is scheduled to make his first court appearance on Monday, November 5 at 9:30 a.m.
A 20-year-old Alberta male was arrested, charged and lodged in cells for impaired driving and driving while over .08 on Saturday night. Also on Saturday, five males were arrested and lodged in cells for public intoxication, and a 22-year-old male was arrested for breach of recognizance conditions.
A 33-year-old male from Lampman was arrested, charged and lodged in cells on Friday night for breaching his recognizance conditions. Other calls on Friday saw a 25-year-old male from Estevan was arrested and charged for impaired driving and driving while over .08, and five males were arrested for public intoxication and lodged in cells for the night.
