The United Way Estevan has determined the entertainment that will wrap up its 36th annual telethon in October.
The telethon runs for 33 hours from 8 a.m. on October 12 to 5 p.m. on October 13. It takes place at the Royal Canadian Legion, and it will air on Access Communications.
A 1950's dance party is scheduled to wrap up the telethon. It will start at 4 p.m. and continue throughout the final hour. The public is encouraged to dress up in period costume, come down to the Legion, and demonstrate their dance moves.
Volunteers are still needed for the telethon. People are encouraged to give a couple hours of their time.
Homemade bid items are also still being accepted for the silent auction. Donors can contact Wendy at 421-7124 or Christa at 461-9465.
This year's theme is "Be the Difference." The goal for the telethon is $335,000.
