Enduro wraps up Speedway season


The Enduro race offered plenty of tight racing, passing and collisions, as 71 cars crammed the three-eighths mile track.

The Estevan Motor Speedway wrapped up its 2012 season by hosting its annual Enduro race September 23.

Mike Zohner was the winner, as he completed 104 laps in the allotted 90 minutes. The Enduro last for 90 minutes or 150 laps, whichever is completed first.

Ron Frayn was second, Curtis Siebert was third, Jared Story finished fourth and Jay Cairns came in fifth.

A couple other drivers were recognized: Rick Russell for being the first car eliminated, and Greg Wanner for having the best-looking entry.

A total of 71 cars entered this year's Enduro.
