It was an all-Estevan showdown in the main event of Hard Knocks Fighting's School of Hard Knocks 28 card at Spectra Place on September 14.
Felix Jimenez defeated Wade Baldwin via unanimous decision to win the final bout on the 14-fight card. Jimenez improved his record to 2-2 in Hard Knocks competition; Baldwin's record fell to 1-3.
It was the only fight that went the distance.
Five other fights featured local fighters. None of them lasted more than a round.
*Bienfait's Derek Daku improved his record to 3-1 with a victory over Toronto's Allan Bogle (0-1) via TKO. The fight only lasted 66 seconds. The referee stopped the fight due to unanswered strikes.
*Matthew McCormick of Estevan defeated former Estevan Bruin Lee Ruff, who now lives in Brandon, Manitoba, via technical knockout (TKO) 53 seconds into the fight. It was the first fight for both competitors.
*Kurt Bailey (9-6) of Estevan lost to Corey Atkinson (5-4-1) of Humboldt via TKO from a rear naked choke 92 seconds into their fight.
*Estevan's Craig Gaudry (2-2) lost to Meelad Hashtee (1-1) of Toronto via tapout from a guillotine choke 2:57 into the first round.
*Mike Geib (0-3) of Estevan lost to Kevin Taylor (1-0) of Brandon. Taylor was declared the winner via verbal tapout because Geib suffered a knee injury, and couldn't continue after the first round.

*Justin Hill (1-0) of Calgary defeated Cody Puls (0-2) of Kenora at the 45-second mark of the second round due to tapout from a guillotine choke.
*Curtis Richard (1-1) of Thunder Bay, Ontario, defeated Joshua Ferguson (0-1) of Brandon at the 37-second mark of the second round via TKO after the referee stopped the fight.
*Ian Abbott (2-0) of Sandy Lake defeated Nic Dupasquier (0-1) of Winnipeg at the 2:38 mark of the first round via knockout.
*Harold Brun (1-1-1) of Kenora, Ontario, beat Miguel Tock (0-2) of Lethbridge, Alberta, at 1:32 of the first round due to a tapout from a rear naked choke.
*Ethan Cornect (2-0) of Brandon defeated Chris Wilson (0-2) of Calgary at the 1:57 mark of the first round via TKO. The referee stopped the match due to unanswered blows
*Christian Olson (3-1) of La Ronge defeated Nic Grandbois (1-4) of Kenora, Ontario, via a verbal TKO following the first round. Grandbois couldn't continue due to a knee injury.
*Ryan Starkell (3-1) of Winnipeg defeated Zachary Atkinson (0-1) of Winnipeg via TKO at 2:33 of the first round when the referee stopped the fight due to unanswered strikes.
*Derek Lapierre (2-0) of Brandon defeated Madison Mejia (2-1) of Kenora via tapout from a reverse triangle at the 48-second mark of the second round.
