Rehearsals begin soon for chorus

Rehearsals for the 42nd annual Celebration of Christmas Music, presented by the Northwest and Southeast Choruses, will begin soon.

The first rehearsal is slated for Tuesday, September 4, at 7:00 p.m. (Central Standard Time) at the Divide County Elementary Gym in Crosby, N.D. Rehearsals last for up to two-and-a-half hours, and they will take place at the same time and location each Tuesday.

The theme for 2012 is “Awaken and Prepare.” Most of the music is new, and there will be some challenging selections. Ed Retzer will once again be the director this year.

Performances are set for Saturday, December 1, at 7:00 p.m. at St. Paul's United Church in Estevan, and Sunday, December 2, at 4:00 p.m., at Concordia Lutheran Church in Crosby.
