The South Corner Racing Circuit made its first of two appearances in Estevan this year on August 25.
Bryce Reynolds won two classes for the adult riders, as he took the Open A and the veteran divisions. Tyson Wall and Bryce Friess were second and third, respectively, in Open A. Randy Franke and Josh Mantei rounded out the top three in the veteran division.
Brett Foster won the Open B. Jamie Copithorn was second and Tyler Slimmon was third. Jeff Morgan took top spot in Open C, followed by Brandon Tessier and Christian Douan. Kade Anderson topped the 125 class. Darren Haupstein was second and Greg Miller was third. Kate Lees won the women's division. Judy Istace and Andrea Sernick rounded out the top three.
William Merrett won twice in the youth classes, taking top spot in super mini and the 85 cc disciplines. In the super mini, Kayden Hjorteland was second and Travis King was third. Hjorteland also finished second in 85 cc. Cole Hastings was third.
Tyson Wall won the youth event. Jason Loewen and Bryce Friess were second and third, respectively. Jordan Hillrich won the 65 cc division, followed by Matthew Hutt and Matthew Stokes. Noah Jacobson, Matthew Stokes and Zaden Batty were the top three in 50 cc. And Jericho Rachul won the beginner division. He was followed by Dylan Mitchell and Rhys Jones.
The circuit is a seven-race series in the southeast that has two programs in each of Estevan, Carlyle and Oxbow, and one program in Weyburn. Points are accumulated over the course of the seven races, and a champion is declared at the end of the season.
The next program in Estevan will be the season finale on Saturday, September 29.
