Mike LaCoste (front) and Ray Frehlick cooked hot dogs and hamburgers during a fundraising barbecue at Spectra Financial on June 25. Nearly 300 people turned out. An estimated $1,450 was raised for the Hearthstone Community Campaign, which is raising money for the new Estevan Regional Nursing Home. Local celebrities served as chefs and served food at the event. Not only was it an opportunity to raise money for the new nursing home, but it was a chance to build awareness among potential key donors about the value of a new nursing home in Estevan.
