Book pays tribute to Saskatchewan's natural wonders

A new book highlights 50 of Saskatchewan's most significant natural wonders.

"The Great Saskatchewan Bucket List" lists 50 sites that people should visit during their lifetime. It boasts multiple photographs of each attraction, for a total of over 170 pictures, plus maps and coordinates to help people arrive at the destination. Each site has a rating on how difficult it is to find.

Some are easy to locate. Others will require more effort.

Award-winning writers and photographers Robin and Arlene Karpan travelled to almost every corner of Saskatchewan, from the south areas to the far north, to experience Saskatchewan's beauty.

The colour photographs capture a sunrise at Castle Butte, a look at Canada's longest pedestrian bridge and the view from the top of Canada’s largest sand dunes.

The Karpan's also travelled to the Eye Cave on the mountain-like Dead Man’s River, the Crooked Bush, Saskatchewan’s largest waterfall, and the Sand Castle at Lake Diefenbaker.

The photos also showcase wildlife that won't be found anywhere else in Canada.

The Great Saskatchewan Bucket List is available at bookstores and gift shops, or directly from Parkland Publishing's website.
