Bowl for Kids Sake a striking success


Shad Howse of Enerplus presented Big Brothers Big Sisters of Weyburn executive director Sharla Zidkovich with a $1,000 cheque for gold sponsorship. The presentation was made during the Bowl for Kids Sake event held on April 21 at Superbowl in Weyburn.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Weyburn held its annual fundraiser, Bowl for Kids Sake, on April 21 at the Superbowl. More than one hundred individuals played on one of fourteen teams.

Executive Director for BBBSW. "A great big thank you goes out to our corporate sponsors, those who donated silent auction items, bowlers and volunteers who helped make the 17th Annual Bowl For Kids Sake a great success again this year!"

The event raised $16,587, which will play a significant part in Big Brothers Big Sisters of Weyburn's continuation of mentoring programs to serve the children and families of the Weyburn.

This year, BBBSW had three gold-level sponsors with each donating $1,000. Those were Investor's Group, Weyburn Youngfellows Club and Enerplus.
