The Estevan Bruins Alumni Association will host their annual Par 3 Hole-In-One Golf Tournament on Saturday, May 28, at the Estevan Woodlawn Golf Course.
The event will have a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Up to 144 golfers can participate. Alumni association president Brad Pierson said that entries have been coming in, and the tournament is expected to have a full field.
Participants can enter individually or as a team, but Pierson hopes that they will register as teams.
Woodlawn will be converted to a par-3 golf course for the tournament. One $20,000 cash prize will be offered on each hole for a hole-in-one.
A supper and awards ceremony will follow at the golf course's clubhouse.
Pierson said the tournament is a great event, and an excellent way to support the Estevan Bruins' hockey club. All proceeds from the tournament will go to the Bruins.
The alumni association has supported several projects for the Bruins, including the team's new locker room inside of Spectra Place. The association has pledged $40,000 towards the project.
