Drug bust in Redvers

Carlyle RCMP members arrested two people Friday in Redvers.

Ryan Cunningham, a 37-year-old male from Carlyle, was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, trafficking in a controlled substance, production of cannabis and unsafe storage of firearms.

Tony Trush, a 36-year-old male from Carlyle was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and production of cannabis.

Police also seized cannabis marijuana, drug paraphernalia and cash. As well, a number of firearms, including three rifles and one shotgun, were seized.

Both will be appearing in Carlyle Provincial Court on November 17 at 10 a.m.
