The Estevan Bruins wrapped up the exhibition portion of their schedule Sunday night with a 3-1 home ice loss to the Notre Dame Hounds.
Troy Hunter’s supplied the Bruins’ offence with a short-handed goal midway through the second period.
Joel Danyluk stopped 29 of 32 shots for Estevan.
Catlin Foley had two power play goals for Notre Dame.
Estevan finished the pre-season with a 2-2-0-1 record.
The Bruins open their 2010-11 regular season Thursday night in Melville. The game will also be the first regular season game in the SJHL this year.
Estevan's home opener is Saturday night, also against Melville.
